(26 ene. 1912, Nueva York–6 dic. 1967, Nueva York). Titiriteros estadounidenses. Bil Baird (originalmente William Britton Baird) trabajó para el titiritero Tony Sarg durante cinco años y luego produjo sus propios espectáculos de títeres a partir de mediados de la década de 1930. Se casó con Cora Eisenberg en 1937 y comenzaron a crear títeres, escenarios y música original para sus obras. Produjeron una serie de programas de televisión en la década de 1950 y abrieron su propio teatro de marionetas en Nueva York en 1966. Bil escribió The Art of the Puppet (1965) y fue maestro de titiriteros como Jim Henson.
